Museum Cleaning Week

The Project

The museum was closed in the first week of February 2016 for essential cleaning and painting ork to be carried out.

Volunteers included, myself, Friends of the Aldershot Military museum, museum staff and volunteers.

I wish to thank my employer (UK) Ltd. for loaning me out for two days of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).

The task we took on and completed were:-

• Washed down the walls in the main entrance.
• Painted ceiling, walls and skirting board of the main reception.
• Cleaned the glass of all the display cabinets in the museum.
• Vacuumed floors.
• Washed carpets in the museum and Boyce room.
• Swept out Montgomery Barn.
